1 1. Q5/SQ5 MKII Discussion - Horsepower Question 2.0L TFSI Engine - I tried the search function and it sucks so here goes: Does anyone know why the hp ratings for the 2019 / 2020 2.0l TFSI engines were downgraded from the 2018 specs? Torque specs didn't change.
2009. Petrol. Manual. 2.0L TFSI 132Kw. 94,000 Miles. At first the "Engine exhaust gas management" light appeared (not blinking, solid amber) shortly after that "EPC" light lit up as well. The car went into limp mode, and I had to drive slow. Pulling over and restarting the engine, helped removing the epc light and the "limp mode", which allowed
I think the only way to go will be a 2.0 TFSI. Looking at APR tuning, they can take it up to 400+ BHP with a Stage 3. I won't go that far I think, but a Stage 1 of 250 BHP would be fantastic! I might look in to doing this further in into the year, going to do the suspension and brakes first.
Audi A4 B9 Engines. The Audi A4 B9 featured many engines out of the gate, 3 gas engines and 4 diesel engines. For the gas engines, there is a 35 TFSI (1.4TFSI/2.0TFSI) that puts down 148hp and 184lb-ft of torque, 40 TFSI (2.0TFSI Ultra) that puts down 187hp and 263lb-ft, and a 45TFSI (2.0TFSI) that puts down 249hp and 273lb-ft of torque.
But, Audi’s engineers often raise the bar a bit further, with one of the latest examples found in the new EPC® system in the 2020 Audi S6 and S7 models. Brought to the U.S. market for the first time in the Audi S6 and S7, the EPC system comes paired to the 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged TFSI® V6 engine.

Arriving in the UK in April 2006, the second-generation Audi TT was first available as a coupe, with a choice of a petrol 2.0-litre TFSI engine (shared with the Golf GTI) or a powerful 3.2-litre V6.
Engines & Performance: There's a lot of engines to choose from, ranging from a 178bhp 1.8-litre petrol to a 242bhp 2.0-litre petrol – that's discounting the 306bhp (upped to 316bhp for 2021) 2.0
In most cases, the Audi TFSI engine has proved reliable but, as with all engines, correct and timely maintenance is the key to longevity. Pre-2012 TFSI engines may have higher-than-average oil consumption, which could be nothing to worry about but in some cases signifies that the piston rings in the engine may be worn. The VW 2.0 TSI / TFSI EA888 is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline turbocharged engine based on the 1.8 TSI/TFSI of EA888 series. The production of the 2.0 TSI engine started in March 2008. It was released as a replacement for the 2.0 TSI engines of the previous EA113 family. In my opinion, the 45 TFSI engine is one of the best high-performance engines for the Audi A4 and one of the coolest engines in the whole class of compact sedans. It's reliable, economical, not really problematic, cool to drive, and not super-expensive. .
